1. What is a Charity Bachelor Auction and how is it done?
The Bachelor Auction is a fundraising event that presents eligible, professional men to the Charleston community. Each bachelor will be accompanied by a “Date Package”.
2. Who will benefit from the proceeds?
All proceeds will benefit community initiatives that promote educational, economic and cultural empowerment.
3. What happens after I win?
Congratulations! You were persistent and the proud owner of fabulous items.
4. Do I have to go on the date with the bachelor?
You are not obligated to go on a date with the bachelor. However, if you choose to go on a date with him, it must be done within 30 days from the auction.
5. How are the packages designed?
The packages are designed to be used towards your date and your personal enjoyment. It’s your choice to use a portion or all of the items with the bachelor. Packages could be made up of an array of items from our sponsors such as a jazz dinner at the Mezz, Schooner’s sunset cruise, spa experience, and Columbia Comedy House tickets.
6. Is the auction only for single women?
Of course not!! All women are welcome to bid during the live auction. See rule 4. There are also silent auction items that are fit for both men and women. And you are welcome to support and bid for your single girlfriends!
